I used to be a Marathon Maniac. Now I have fibromyalgia, Raynaud's, scleroderma, a pre-teen Diva, and a set of twins (one with special needs). I'm hoping to be able to get back to running some day, but for now just being able to keep my body as limber and pain-free as I can is my challenge. I hope you enjoy my long-winded ramblings, DIYs, crafts, silliness, tips, advice, and reviews!

It’s finally here!! Happy #valentinesday2019 everybody, from a little #lovebug a #heartwarrior and a #heartthief ð❤️. I made the boys’s shirts, but not the baby’s. My inspiration for the boys’s shirts came from two things. One of my favorite #lovequotes of all time is: I shall call you a thief, for you have stolen my heart. And the other reason is because Miracle Man is a heart warrior, beating the odds, surviving congenital heart defects. So it was an easy choice, ninja heart thief for my Super K-Man, who has stolen my heart because he is a sweetheart who loves me sooooooo much more than I deserve, and a ninja heart warrior for our miracle, who’s heart was 87% blocked before he had his #openheartsurgery at 7 weeks old. ❤️ðð #blogpost #lovemyfamily #lovemykiddos #familyislove #familyofsix #bigfamilybighearts #bemyvalentines #mommysvalentines #bigsisteristoocoolforus #cricut #sisereasyweed #diytshirts

You are all probably going to think I’m obsessed with #valentinesday but I’m really not. Well, maybe a little...ðĪ·ðž♀️ðĪŠ I do like to celebrate other holidays, though, too! In all fairness, I really didn’t have a lot of decorations for Valentine’s Day until this year’s #painting fest! ðģ This #diysign was made by painting the block of wood pink, painting the hearts freehand (which I wasn’t too happy with...so I sanded it!! ððĪĢ) Then I came up with the idea of sanding the background enough that it looked faded like your favorite pair of worn jeans. I cut the #xoxo out of #vinyl on my #cricut and placed them on the block of wood and voila! It was complete! The vase was thrown together with flowers I had laying around the house...I’m sure everyone has all of these #craftsupplies just hanging around, right!? ð I made the bow, tied it around the vase and secured it with a dab of hot glue. And that was that! Easy peesy! #valentinesday2019 #homedecor #livingwithlove #lovemakesafamily #lovemakeslifebeautiful #blogpost #scleroderma #chronicillness #lovemyfamily #easycrafts #crafttherapy

Another #diysign that I painted for #valentinesday2019 for my home. It was a rough month with all of my kids being sick multiple times (some still are), so I needed a little #crafttherapy the last few weeks. For this sign, I painted the wood red and then cut #vinyl letters out on my #cricut to use as a reverse stencil. A couple of layers of black paint later, I pulled the vinyl letters off carefully and then added the heart details. I used a rubber stamp with my acrylic paints to get the basic shape of the hearts, then painted over the stamp lines and added details freehand. Once the sign was dry, I sanded the edges and all over the flat surface to distress it. This was another super easy addition to my wall because each step took about 5-10 minutes, so I was able to work on it in between momming for my four sick kiddos and my own health limitations. #blogpost #painting #valentines #lovemyfamily #familyofsix #chronicillness #chronicpain #fibromyalgia #scleroderma #toomanydoctorvisits #goingstircrazy

Another simple craft I made for #valentinesday2019 for my home. I took a piece of wood and cut it into four equal pieces. Then I sanded the pieces and painted them black. Then I took some red burlap, cut it to size and pinned it down on each corner with the heart brads/eyelets by tapping them into the wood with a hammer. The letters I cut out on my #cricut in two different materials. The bottom layer is a black mat board using the basic shape of the letter, without the details, and the top layer was cut out of a velvet paper with the details included in the cut this time. I used spray adhesive to adhere the two letter pieces together and then my hot glue gun to attach them to the block of wood. It may sound like this project took a long time, but I have less than an hour into it. Probably closer to 30-45 minutes. It was a fun and easy #craft to make! #blogpost #painting #craftymomma #lovemyfamily #happyvalentinesday #chronicillness #scleroderma #fibromyalgia #easycrafts
